IGF-1 LR3
Long-Acting IGF-1 Analogue
A long-acting analogue of IGF-1 with enhanced potency and extended half-life.
Overview
IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Long Arg3) is a synthetic analogue of IGF-1 with an arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-amino acid extension at the N-terminus. These modifications reduce its binding to IGF-binding proteins, extending its half-life and increasing its potency.
Research Information
Research on IGF-1 LR3 has demonstrated its enhanced anabolic activity compared to native IGF-1. Studies have investigated its effects on muscle protein synthesis, satellite cell activation, and tissue repair. Research has also explored its metabolic effects, including effects on glucose uptake and fat metabolism.
Research Dosage Reference
Research protocols use subcutaneous or intramuscular administration. Standard vials contain 1mg lyophilized powder. All dosing information is for research reference only.
